Our Basic Farrier Course is designed to provide high-quality , affordable education in equine farrier skills. We offer day course up to our Advanced farrier courses. They can range anywhere from 1 day to many months depend on how fast or slow you learn. We offer no set 1wk or 4wk etc.. style course because everybody learns at a different pace or not everybody has 2 weeks to spend at a school. Our courses are hands on with lots of class room style anatomy designed for hands on in the field training. hands-on training, and enrollment is open at any time, depends on availability. There are no prerequisites for enrolling in this course, and required tools needed are provided upon enrollment. Whether you have your own horse or not, or your own tools  or not, we offer various cost options including room and board, making it easier for you to choose the best option for your needs. Age is not a hindrance to enrolling in our Basic Farrier Course. If you are working on your horses, there are flexible enrollment options available to accommodate your working schedule. We understand the challenges of attending a longer course, which is why we keep our enrollment options open to meet your needs.

After completing our courses, we offer job placement assistance to help graduates find employment in the equine farrier industry.  There will be no job guarantees , however there will be many options to consider for every level completed here at the Montana Horseshoeing School .
